We're stoked that we're getting back to our roots and celebrating 2 years of Scavenges since our debut event in March 2015 at Coogee Beach. We've come a long way and you'll definitely be seeing that on the 25th of March. We have an underwater cleanup-up being led by the Underwater Research Group from 7:30am in Gordon's Bay. If you are an experienced diver and interested in getting underwater to collect litter with these legends then get in touch with us to register.
Thanks to the support from Randwick Council, we're going to be set up in Dunningham Reserve from 2pm with racks upon racks of pre-loved threads and goods to be traded for the litter collected from the beach. Plastics are making their way into the marine environment at a rapid rate and we need to do something about it. The folk from Coogee Pavilion think so too... SO they've donated a 100 beer tokens that will also be up for grabs with your beach litter.
Sounds pretty good right? Well don't forget the amazing musicians we get along to keep us tapping our toes as we're sorting all this litter! We've got a VERY good line-up so don't miss it.
