Clifton Gardens Scavenge

44 participants came down to Clifton Gardens on Sunday the 10th of February 2019. Thanks to the help from participants, volunteers & organisers we managed to remove over 40 kg of litter from the beach and surrounding areas. Included in that amount were over 2,500 cigarette butts and more then 2,700 little bits of plastic. Out of the 44 participants that took part around 30% had done a beach clean before which we think is awesome considering we normally only expect to have about 10% of participants having done a beach clean before. This statistic helps us to realise that awareness around environmental protection and pollution prevention is rising!

Thanks to everyone that came down to Scavenge with us!!

THANKS TO OUR LOCAL SPONSORS, TALENTED MUSICIANS AND VOLUNTEERS FOR MAKING IT HAPPEN!
