Our first Riverside Scavenge took place on Saturday and let’s just say some places are harder to crack than others…but crack em’ we will!
We had 40 souls scavenge the riverbeds and parks for litter. Mark Harvey was down there from 5:30am collecting trolley after trolley of everything from giant chunks of foam to nappies to old brollies. Overall we managed to total 72.57kg off litter, which included 18.83kg of recycling.
Thanks to the crew that made it happen, the musicians that offered their talents, the legends that donated their clothes and the businesses that put themselves out their and supported this for our debut event... We'll be coming at ya Brissy, bigger and better, so keep it peeled!
THANKS TO OUR LOCAL SPONSORS, TALENTED MUSICIANS
AND VOLUNTEERS FOR MAKING IT HAPPEN!
