It wasn't the ideal day to be scavenging with down-pours having us postpone until the afternoon. But in true Seaside Scavenge form we all came together, rain or shine!
We had a host of awesome performers come and play including Bel Enks and James Isaac.
Scotties Fish Café and Scratchleys also jumped on board to donate some generous vouchers that got everyone out scavenging.
But most importantly we hauled in about 25kg of litter from Merewether beach, this included 562 cigarette butts... so that's 3,894L of water we saved from being contaminated with toxins. Not to mention all the plastic packaging, bottle tops and glass that we pulled in.
THANKS TO OUR LOCAL SPONSORS, TALENTED MUSICIANS
AND VOLUNTEERS FOR MAKING IT HAPPEN!
